[German]Intel has updated its Intel Graphics DCH drivers to version 26.20.100.6709 on April 18, 2019. The driver is only available for 64-bit Windows 10 versions, but is also compatible with the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903).
The release notes for the new driver can be downloaded here. The driver is shipped with the new Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC). This is the recently introduced, completely redesigned management interface for managing driver settings.
- IGCC scans for installed games to allow one-click optimization of in-game settings based on hardware settings and the ability to create custom game profiles to directly adjust individual game settings.
- In addition, the IGCC helps users understand graphics settings with simple explanations and pre- and post-images to see how each setting affects their hardware.
Version 26.20.100.6709 ensures that the driver is now compatible with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 2.6. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Shader Model 6.4 compiler is supported on Intel Core processors of the seventh generation or newer or with Intel HD Graphics 610 or higher and there is support for PSO cache for compute shaders. The driver also provides several performance enhancements for D3D12 MetaCommands in DirectML. The new driver fixes errors from the following list:
- Devil May Cry 5* (DX11) may experience temporary crashes or hangers.
- Minor graphics anomalies can occur in Re-Legion*, Arma 3* (6th generation processors only) and Dreamfall the Longest Journey.
- Rise of the Tomb Raider may display an error message when running DX12.
